This tip follows the Rule of 1: Write each piece of content for one reader, with one offer, and one irresistible value prop. Try to tackle more and you'll muddy your message.


Now, this doesn’t mean you have to limit yourself to a single persona. You can address multiple personas or segments with the right approach.


Want to write a white paper for both business and IT readers? Or an email that speaks to B2B and B2C? Find the overlap. Narrow in on a shared pain point or need.


Then write for that one reader, presenting an offer and value prop tailored (and optimized) for them.
